On the marriage certificate
John Gibson (below) was a 21 year old bachelor. He was a Cab Driver who lived
at Hanover Street.
His father is noted as James Fouldes and was a Carpenter.
Julia (below) was noted as a 20 year old spinster who lived at Hodgson Street.
Her father is noted as William Oates and was a Cab Driver (possibly he worked
with John Gibson as his boss).
The wedding was witnessed
by William Oates (father of Julia) and Mary Fouldes (mother of John Gibson).
